Marc B. Schneider

Partner

Marc maintains a wide-ranging civil litigation practice in federal and state courts, where he represents individuals and small and mid-size businesses. Practice areas of particular focus include employment and commercial disputes and complex constitutional matters. Marc recognizes that there is seldom a one-size-fits-all solution to litigation and works closely with clients on finding the best approach in each case. Throughout the litigation process, clients will find Marc to have unwavering ethics and an inability to deliver anything short of his best written and oral arguments in every case.

Jonathan D. Steele

Partner

Jonathan’s practice focuses on education law. He represents children with disabilities to protect their special education rights and fight against disability discrimination. In addition to education law, Jonathan is a practitioner of effective negotiation strategies. He frequently assists other lawyers in the Firm in attaining desired results via successful negotiation plans of action. His expertise in negotiations results in optimally settling personal injury cases, civil complaints, business disputes and special education cases. Clients will find Jonathan to be focused on delivering lasting results that improve relationships after conflict.

Charles E. Steele

Retired

Charlie is the founding partner of the Firm. He recently retired from the practice of law. His practice areas included representing employers and employees experiencing conflicts in the workplace, disabled students in special education cases, small and medium businesses in a variety of legal matters. Charlie’s love for being a lawyer is contagious. His zealous advocacy served an example to every Steele Schneider lawyer. His continued guidance in retirement insures Steele Schneider will continue to do good work for good people.

Nicholas Pahuta

Associate

Nick’s practice focuses on employment law and civil litigation. He represents employees and employers in connection with the full range of employment legal issues. He has also successfully handled personal injury claims and business matters.

Steven Donovan

Associate

Steven’s practice focuses on education law. He represents children with disabilities to protect their special education rights. He also advises clients regarding guardianship based on the experience he gained as part of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Elder Law Clinic. Steven has successfully litigated guardian petitions in Allegheny and Mercer counties.

Nikki Schneider
